How does hosting work? You simply welcome a French visitor or couple to stay with you. You feed them and assist with transport where needed, and perhaps entertain them with visits to local amenities.
Will I need to speak French well? Not necessarily, as many of our visitors speak good English. You will find that you can get along quite successfully, perhaps with the help of a French – English dictionary or phrase book.
What is the financial commitment? Just that of welcoming a visitor to your house for a short stay. You will find that the visitor will often be willing to share any exceptional costs.
