We are sorry to report that Vannes-Fareham Voile (VFV), the organisation which facilitated the formation and passage of the flotilla of Vannes sailors and boats to Fareham, has been dissolved. This means that there is unlikely to be any group sailing between Fareham and Vannes in the foreseeable future.
The news was announced in a letter to FVTA from Monique Moutaud, the immediate Past-President of VFV. Here is a link to her letter:
Like Monique, we hope that individual Vannes and Fareham sailors will refresh and maintain contact as the Coronavirus 19 pandemic recedes, so that sailing links between the two maritime focussed towns of Vannes and Fareham can continue.
