In glorious weather, Sea Sunday was celebrated yesterday 8 July 2018 in Warsash on the front overloking the entrance to the River Hamble.
Several ships went up and down Southampton Water during the service, as well as many yachts leaving and entering the River.
The service was attended by our MP Suella Braverman, our Mayor Susan Bayford and her Consort, Brian, and the leader of Fareham Borough Council, Sean Woodward. The music was provided by Warsash Band, and the service was officiated by the clergy and choir of St Mary’s Church, Warsash.
The cadets of TS Tormentor provided the ‘guard’ and the colours were carried by representatives of the British Legion.
