The Association’s Annual General Meeting was held on 13th January 2018 in the Church Hall Holy Trinity Church, Weste Street, Fareham,. at 7 p.m. It was attended by guest-of-honour Mayor Geoff Fazackarley and the Mayoress, his wife Tina. The official meeting is an opportunity for our activity groups – sailing, table tennis, medical, vintage cars, and musical – to report their visits and visitors. Mr Mayor spoke to the meeting of his supporrt for twinning with Vannes. The official business done, members again enjoyed a supper of soupe à l’oignons and tarte au pommes over conversation. A fund-raising raffle was held, and Peter Trott entertained us with one of his testing quizzes.
