Sailing Twinning – Early Years

Here, as a slide show, are some photos of the early years of the sailing twinning in Vannes and the Golfe de Morbihan. Use the buttons on the bottom of the image to progress the show or pause on a photo.

We are very grateful to Keith Brewer for sharing his memories with the Association. Keith is in one of the photos wearing a dark blue Société des Regates shirt, and a pink cap. In those days, Keith reports that the Fareham sailors went by road to Vannes and were hosted on French boats, rather than sailing their own boats to Vannes.
